While their salaries seem quite high , it's obviously market forces at work .

I'm sure if some of those mentioned went to work for the commercial networks they would probably be paid multiple times their current salaries .

Here's a controversial view . Because they could get more somewhere else , are they sacrificing that extra money in order to work for the ABC in order to present the type of material that they do ? Should we be praising them for that ?

We've all seen the celebrities and shock jocks defending the downtrodden . The champions of the people . They get paid huge amounts while they possibly exploit others circumstances . I don't see anyone bagging them ?

This is really about the bigger question . What is a person worth ? How much is too much ?
