No not at all, actually quite the opposite.

Hindmarsh stadium has a capacity of about 15,000 with about 8,000 going to recent games. Once you are seated you are sitting shoulder to shoulder and have people in front and behind you. Then you will see big clusters of seats with no one in them. Typically once inside and seated I will move to a less densely populated area of the stadium, not for safety but for comfort.

That's strange, for sure. I noticed the same thing with AFL games.

I wonder whether that is the stadium or the sporting bodies rule rather than the government's one .

It doesn't make any sense to me. Particularly when people are barracking and shouting while sitting next to each other.

Were all the food/drink vendors operating a normal ?
