Looking again at the copper oxide layer at Antas North... it is kind of interesting.

    1. If you join AAND-19,13,14 , they form an absolutely straight line , length of 250m. Further, they all have sizeable shallow copper oxide logged from 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.2m depth on the core. (10m - 24m intercepts)

Allowing a dip of 60deg this gives an average oxide depth below surface of only 1.0m

    The holes are 125m apart.

Let us postulate that the oxide exists continuously between these holes.

To test this idea, it is only necessary to dig a series of scout holes 1.0m or so deep along this straight line and see if the oxide is there. How long does it take to dig a hole that deep and maybe grab a sample ? (and fill it back in of course so nobody stumbles in at night!)

Now it may not be a strict JORC core etc, but it might be persuasive to the Competent Person in doing his estimates... and impress the Market too.

    2. If one plots and extends that line joining AAND-13,14,19 then like an arrow it hits dead-centre on the middle of the circular EM target !! 700m away.

    Holy copper ore Batman!

So.. perhaps some step out scout ditch-witch holes 1.0m deep along this trend line would reveal the presence of the oxide.? If it is there, then one may also be able to consider the presence of underlying sulphides as well.

    3. By way of illustration, if the strip incl those three holes plus the distance to the EM is 1000m long, 20m deep and 40m wide, using a block model then it could be a shallow 2.4Mt at 1% oxide, just by itself. This compares rather favourably with the existing Maiden AVB JORC ore.!

    Will theory meet practice ... ? :)

Interesting to do some theoretical calculations like this, but also it can be revealing too I suggest.
