I can understand your logic here Thwhack, but my understanding of the situation is:

1. While ACL can see members in the trial with long (even very long PFS), and they can see a proportion with standard PFS they will not know the results until the blindfolds are removed. Until that point the distribution of PFS to treatments is conjecture.

2, Here we have a firm run by scientists who know how the science game is played. Accoording to the rules!

One could argue that, if they conject in any way that the results are outstanding, that will be seen as improper, because officially (and scientifically) they do not know.
