Harry dent has got it 100% wrong at every turn for well over a decade . Yet he still sells books and packs out lecture halls . And know not radio interviewers introduce him with 'some terrible news for investors and a massive warning' ,calling him a professor or what not ,without any reference to his complete incompetence.

It just shows that what you actually say or have said has absolutely nothing to do with it . It's how you say it and how you sell yourself that draws followers and believers. A bit like religion and politics .

The crowd overall in any of these spheres has been dumbed down , plus there are a lot more dumber people around now percentage wise per population. It's now impossible to have an argument with any intellectual rigor because the crowd only desires a simple message delivered with a semi messiahonic fervour . And forget anything moderate or sensible ,it has to be either catastrophic or wonderful to gain any plaudits.

Some of the things put up here are plain silly but in markets if you keep saying it's going to really fall over or go to the moon eventually you'll get it right if you live long enough
