It makes no sense. It happens regularly. If there was a large short, I'd get it. Mark the stock down on close. It happens all too often. You can get mad it it or make sure you are on the bid on close. Pick up cheap stock if you are trading in and out (I am not, holding fast ahead of the Appendix 4C and coming ATI vs Surgery results, I'd sell some if it hit 60's or something, but only with a view to buying back lower again).
