@MixedBag If I appeared at all abrupt, it because you gave little information on your first post on suggestion of an Iceberg order and someone took aggressive offence to my earlier patient explanation (from understanding this stuff from working experience in my former job - sorry but Hot Copper is rife with ignorance on the ASX business and sometimes even intentionally so for trading purpose).
Again, I do not have CommSec, but I would strongly suggest to you that the "surplus volume" figure you and Kain are looking at on your CommSec platforms, in fact pertains to the excess of total "shown" sell orders in the market at all various prices steps over buy orders, and not some insight into an iceberg order, that literally CommSec does not have the ability to show you even if it tried. A simple example:
