Yeah but as @Lacan pointed out this morning, they normally suspend on this type of news release. This news not fully in mkt yet for sure.
You'd have to do balls achingly difficult empirical analysis to even begin to prove, but notionally, when the stock suspended, more potential ASX investors and bots pick up the news, and on FOMO you get announcement spikes. One could argue a slower dissemination of the news and less frenzied buying and the stock progresses as the news disseminated.
