SA1588, would not get too excited by that givne Canaccord's play of GEM and TNK in the past.
It is recalled that Canaccord have been spruiking Think Childcare in deference to GEM. The TNK SP went up to $2.34 before falling back and this was after analysts correctly called one of its incubators securing a $25 million debt facility from Moelis Australia Childcare Development Fund. TNK as the operator said it would provide a pipeline of newly developed, purpose built childcare centres around Australasia for Think Childcare to acquire progressively over 5 years.
GEM is a fair bit bigger and I may be cynically but suggest that the spruiking of TNK has everything to do with GEM getting a substitution effect from the fall of TNK.
