I could not agree more. Peaceful protest can act like a pressure release valve, allowing people to vent their frustrations as well as bringing their concerns to public attention. We may disagree with their views but we should ensure they have the right to do so peacefully, safely & without unfair impact on others.
In the case of corporate greed, executive remuneration & the performance of global investment bankers I think people have a lot to protest about:
