What disappointed me recently was the scorn and ridicule heaped on the No Carbon Tax rally attendees, mainly by a small band of smart alec Lefties on this site.
Some of these people travelled across the country to join that rally. Whatever your view for or against, I respect that sort of effort. And no I'm not talking about Alan Jones either who would have flown in, stayed at a 5 star hotel and flown out again. I note he's now jumped on the CSG bandwagon now.
These are in the main normal, lawful citizens who are unhappy about something and want to voice their disapproval in a more organised manner, and by association with other of like mind.
So I say again Lapdog, if it's controlled, peaceful, lawful then let them vent their spleen.
Who cares what the cause is about, it's their right to protest and if it lets them blow off steam as you say then it's a good thing, might save someone from doing something stupid if they weren't able to blow of some steam.
