Hi all. Have been sitting musing about marketing since hearing of the company name change idea. Through my business i know a few of the submariner dudes from out on Garden island, could be handy, and last night in my increased excitement about the company i rang one and told him to tell his mates on the base about this company that will soon be powering the island. He sounded very interested though i am always reserved about giving anyone share tips however promising. Then i thought some more about Carnegie. Technical side aside cause that just takes some time, it is in all our interests to see a higher share price to help the company evolve as quickly as possible. Thinking about it we have a seriously groovy product here that not many people even know exists. Ask Branson if he thinks image can help promote a brand! So to increase our image and profile. Well we could engage ex world number one pro surfer Mark Occilupo as our embassidor to the surf community. He is well know ,loved and respected and anyone who has seen his face would not forget it! Lol!! 10 k a year might do it and to make it more interesting pay it in shares. This would pay itself back 100 fold in the free publicity in surf mags etc. We do need to engage the surf community as they are a large potential market who may see a conflict of interest with our idea of sucking the energy out of waves. It is better to alay fears before they arise. Freo is a fairly hip place for those who havent been there. Lots of green thinkers who have done well. Target a few high profile locals and send them an info pack and one free share in the company. People like Luc Longley, John Butler, Tim Winton ,Ben Elton the Eskimo Joe guys to name a few all have a close conection to the home of Carnegie. Then why leave it there. Jamie Durie, Dick Smith the Dalai Lama for that matter!!Lol! We need to start to promote the fact that environmentally we can be a big part of the solution. And thats pretty cool. And cool is easy to sell!!
