OMG now we have to discuss high school science on this thread.CO2 is essential to life because it is one input in photosynthesis but too much is a poison- causing temperature rise in air and oceans with rate of change never experienced in geological history.Salt is essential to life and indeed wars have been over it but too much as the ancient mariner will tell you is not good.Coal might have once been a convenient energy source but fortunately technology has moved on.Coal is now evil and will soon become a stranded asset.Suggest you adjust your portfolio accordingly and embrace renewables because people with more smarts than you- and who wish to avert catastrophe, will mandate it.
