Run a little experiment of your own. Pop a plastic dish with 1,000ml of water in the microwave. Zap for 30 seconds. Measure the temp difference of the water from start to finish. Now do it for 10ml. NOW do you see why 0.1 degree matters when we have over a billion cubic meters of ocean?
