must have overlooked the massive input from the sun I guess.

FYI, the energy from the sun appears to be reacting to changing conditions in Earth’s atmosphere, namely increased levels of the greenhouse gas CO2 particularly over the past 50 years.

Broadly, that’s what the science is telling us.
