You are telling me that the 2014 heat record did not come from the ocean in the other thread. you backed up that the sentiment you hold in this thread by saying "Last year was not an El Nino yea. So, last year, ocean heat did not add to the surface temperature record. Yet 2014 was nevertheless the hottest year on record. "
Yet in this thread you say the oceans are hot as they have ever been in the opening piece.
