All the hard work doesn't make him suitable to take us to glory, i'm sure he has worked hard within his capabilities. I bet Julia Gillard works her ass off also but that doesn't mean she's the right person to run our country, so on that point i'll have to disagree.

I don't see how having a O&G professional CEO/GM take over would end in disaster, but i guess it's all hyperthetical unless we actually had a name of who would take over in order to judge his chance of success. I would have to disagree though, IMO we would have to hire a terrible O&G boss in order to have results falling below the standards set out by JH.

Now as for things going slow, well that's a understatement! Jh has had ample time to sort out funding for drilling activities through either JVPs or CR. What was he doing through the whole wet season?

It certainly wasn't booking rigs or gaining a Major partner to support exploration, i agree with anon i'd prefer give up some % in order to get exploring he's played hard ball when clearly not in a position to play hard ball!!
