Yes, it can cause mania but not in everyone & sleep problems are why it’s given in the morning or split doses of am & lunch time in larger doses.
I suspect Donald might be a bit way this inclined anyway. It’s a bit different in Cancer patients. I’m glad you are now off it, it can cause some nasty side effects longer term.
