Its almost Newtonian - ie 'For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction'.
With PLS its 'For every SP increase there is a lesser opposite retrace' - sometimes with a disruptive 'sell the news' element.
Or something like that!!
IMO - and I know relatively little about it!!
