I love the idea of moving to new energy and hopefully reducing air pollution almost as much as I love the idea of the price of lithium increasing and all of us making some money. It will however be a huge unquantifiable bonus to move away from our dependence on oil - particularly Saudi oil and see the resulting long term geo-political and macro-economic shifts which this entails. Bring it on.
