Not holding out to much hope for Tanzania Hainholtz.....The Tusker deposit is what got me into SBS in the first place. Lots of potential with Barrick...best developer of low grade resources in the world. Instead Barrick have clearly decided it is ok...but small in their scale of things, low grade, and a JV. Together it means being placed on the slow backburner, especially if SBS had not had the wits to put an expiry clause in the JV. Given the Asmara project debacle with SGC, I doubt SBS had the wits to even ensure they ever regain control if Barrick lose interest. Barrick now have 51% under the JV deal, so presumably their controlling interest will be used to sit on the deposit until SBS go broke, then develop it without the gnat annoying them.
