Following on that thought... I looked up the MFS HC thread for 14.03.08 and BB posted under Meryls substantial holding.. and Zman said "Interesting reading. Mostly stock borrowing and loaning.
Looks like they loaned millions of shares to the shorters to help them drive the price into the ground, while retaining a substantial holding. Smart move.
