In 2013 Mesoblast acquired Prochymal for $50m. The company hasn't really added any value to that, although it's spent a huge amount on failed trials, and is in hock for $90m with the IP pledged as security. So to me a market cap of $1B looks like a Ponzi scheme on steroids, if such a thing is possible.
