the term "bot" has been thrown around a fair bit lately, it is share trading software that is used by large buyers or sellers to do one of the following instructions:
1) Buy a large parcel of shares on market with out causing an upward movement of the SP
2) Sell a large parcel of shares without dropping the SP substantially
3) subtely manipulate the SP up or down
I also believe that when the Market does not get what it wants, when it wants, it becomes quite frightened, and it is safer out than in.
The delayed progress with the closed loop test is quite a problem. everything ran so smoothly up untill then.
