I resolved too that dividends were the way forward for me and that's why I have now (as previously advised) taken a larger position in CER which is a strategic stake.
It offers great dividend potential (yield) and is unlikely to cease dividend payments despite the turmoil and whatever re-organisation CNP undergoes.
That said, I haven't sold down any of my CNP or day-traded it. If CNP dies,then so will CER that's my view. But if CNP survives (even as a shell) I believe the value to existing holders of CER will be retained. Hence my increased position.
