Their not all half owned.
Only 37 properties that CER have in the US are co-owned with CNP.
Most are owned by CER in its own right.
Some with the other REITs.
Have a look at the supplemental report released 29 August 2008 and look at the ownership of each property.
YOu will see that not too many US properties are co-owned between the two companies.
Although SuperLLC is the JV vehicle between CER and CNP, both companies purchased the majority of their properties in the US in its own identity. Think of it like a pre-nuptial agreement.
