Yes this broke out a few days ago. You can confirm this by seeing that the price closed higher than the previous high (See the solid red line, just below the 5c mark) on substantial volume.
Note: It also broke the downwards trend a few days prior to that.

I presonally believe that most gaps get filled eventually. There are some examples where the sp doesn't come back but i could show you many more that do.

Charting is not 100% but it can be used as a guide to see what the potential Risk Vs Reward is. Fundamentals will always beat charting in the long run.
