Both companies (Gridcomm and Syntronic) have the same thing going for them - cost savings through innovation.
I can see my own workplace buying into the Syntronic app for data splitting (everyone here has personal phones also used for work - and everyone constantly over-claims on their work data allowence!).
I would also love to see my own city (Melbourne) buying into Gridcomm. The street lights (as far as I can tell) are static in their timing and would be great to see less power wasted, translating into lower costs (and hopefully rates) for the city.
Long term I see Gridcomm as the real stayer and winner - Power management contracts with cities last years, while someone is always looking at briningout a better newer app.
