If I benchmark this stock to Musgrave who are on the Mainland and Lake Austin, they have achieved numerous near surface high grade drill holes. They are travelling in the mid 30c region so ODY may get strong emotional buyers with visible gold in a single core, but that in isolation will not translate into a fundamental economic resource. The wider drilling programme will be interesting to evaluate.
Tuckanarra is renown for stringer and kidney gold formations in quartz bound up in the Banded Iron Formations(BIF). A long finger width gold stringer may follow a down shoot for 50 metres or more, then balloon out into a fat kidney deposit several metres wide or big, full of gold.
These stringers can easily translate into 3 to 5 ounces per ton grades but grades die off pretty quick outside the stringer.
Metana did several of the original open pits in the area at 2 grams to the tonne back in the day, carting the ore to their Reedys/Burnakura plant.
All IMO DYOR.
