Resapp have stated on a few occasions that they do not at this stage intend to release a version of the product for the patient's personal use. It is a diagnostic tool to assist a medical practitioner. As such there will be a qualified medical person available to assess modify the environment if conditions are outside the operating tolerance of the product. In a traditional setting the medic will be able to intervene directly to fix problems. In a telehealth context, where the doctor and the patient are in different locations, they will be able to advise the patient on what they need to do to reduce interference to a tolerable level before they collect new data.
