My only reservation to the cheap buyout theory (if I'm understanding you correctly) is that Jeremy is the largest (albeit indirect) shareholder in ADR via his managed fund's business Bioscience - which manages the Asia Pac fund. As fiduciary of that capital, in my opinion there is no way he is selling out 25m shares and basically locking in a loss for his investors (and potentially himself). Hence why I think he's stepped in to take control of the situation. I'm expecting him to be keenly determined to stay independent and get the company back on track.
