Farmers protesting, what a joke.

Their indiscriminate land clearing have destroyed the landscape, lost of ground cover has increased salinity substantially, their thirst for irrigation water has depleted the river systems ( requiring billions of tax payer dollars for their restoration), fertilizers washed into the already depleted water systems encouraged the growth of algae which further suffocate the river systems, and whatever is left is washed into the sea, on the eastern seaboard, into the Great Barrier Reef, slowly destroying the reef.
