It needs the buyer and seller to meet up and sign the form (or post it to each other at the minimum), and then send the original signed form into LMS.
There will be none of: 'HOWEVER - whether the OMT's actually occur is another question and whether those buying the new shares will be deemed to be legal holders and whether the sellers will not seek any claims for losses if they transfer their shares at a loss prior to the actual ASX (or other platform's) trading of ISX shares.'

I am even happy to meet up to fill in the form together, and show my shares on Link Market Services to the buyer while filling it in (at a police station or similar, so we can get the JP signature for the ID check as well).
