This is the part of the letter they send warning about off market transfers.

We draw to your attention that persuant to the law, if an off market transfer of Brisconnections securities was for the purpose of defeating, delaying, or interfering with the rights of Brisconnections to pursue the payment of the installments, the transfer may be regarded as a viodable transaction. This means that off market transactions undertaken for this purpose will not be valid and the transferor will be still be liable for the transactions.

Before we did our transfers, we showed our lawyer this letter and he said that this is a gross misrepresentation of the law and told us to disregard that letter as no judge in this country would see it that way. So we transferred our shares hoping that he was right and that Brisconnections were wrong. Luckily the judge in this case saw it the way our lawyer did!!!
