The reason for my question is in regards to market manipulation.
I often See sales into orders well below the Current Bid price.. To then see the bid removed and have often wondered why or how somebody could do such a trade and questioned the timing.
But potentially this can be done in an orderly and timely manner to move the SP in a favorable direction (often lower)...
Am i correct in this assumption..?
