[miningmx.com] -- AFRICAN miner Aim Resources said it expected to sign binding supply agreements with Xstrata Plc in Spain and Boliden in Sweden to ship 70,000 tons of zinc concentrate a year from a mine in Burkina Faso, Reuters reported.
AIM, which is developing West Africa's first zinc mine in Burkina Faso, already had an agreement to ship 45,000 tons of concentrate a year to Brazilian metals group Votorantim.
"We expect to sign the agreements with Xstrata and Boliden within the next two months," Aim MD Marc Flory was quoted by the newswire as saying.
