Extract from ZFX's Notice of Variation extending the Offer
period,

""For the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 3.2:
· at the date of the offer, Zinifex did not have a relevant interest in any
Allegiance ordinary shares; and
· at the date of this offer extension, Zinifex has a relevant interest in
0.26% of Allegiance ordinary shares.""

For all their trouble only about 2,015,000 shares were acquired by ZFX under this expensive exercise.

Would have been a lot cheaper to have bought on market in the first instance.
