icey,in answer,
1/Stone require $13m to complete their AAM deal in OCT.
2/FML don't want to pay cash. This deal was primarily about conserving cash(by not using it to pay tax and spending it on further development instead)
3/FML re-rating maybe gives stone an out at a good profit on a rising price,at no cost to FML.
4/BUT MOST OF ALL -FML management do what's right for the company and although it may not be in daytraders best interests,it is in longterm holders.
5/someone said it's 20 or so takeovers DON TAIG's orchestrated,so lets let the conductor get on with making the orchestra play the FML tune.He might insist on a bit of repetition until it sounds/comes right. We've got our tickets, lets not be too hasty and get a bad deal on our outlay,by being impatient and attending a pre-performance.
We're no different than a property developer,if this bloke won't shift,we'll let this property slowly turn into a dirty weedstroon vacant lot until he does.If he does, the whole lot will be an expensive, residential subdivision with commensurate margins,AFTER DEVELOPMENT.Either way, there's only so much we can develop at one time and boomtime it is and we've plenty of land elsewhere in our landbank. Here or there,it's just a matter of priority and which gold cycle its in(now or 10yrs away).
DYOR-Some things play out like poetry in motion for the patient-just like this will without a doubt. We've got Cassius Clay(Muhammid Ali)in our corner with 20 straight knock outs to his name, toying with a unknown MR. Stone of hong kong/China,who's already shown,he can't deliver a knock out(takeover-why?-lack of cash?)with all the usual boxer hype about the big stone takeover(knock-out)in HK(for US1.5m?),we're seeing how much endurance he's got and we're only in the 3rd round. We haven't even laid a punch on him yet, just keep pushing him away, probably because we see he's wobbling through lack of fitness to be here and will probably fall over soon anyway.
We've got to let it be seen,we don't kick mis-matched opponents in the goolies,we're better than that.
We just make it embarrassing for them and their promoters,so their stupid promoters won't waste our time again.
