Here in SA a small outfit 'adam internet' was superb until Telstra threatened to kill them off and they sold out to iiNet who in turn have sold out to TPG.
Have an ADSL2+ broadband plus VOIP phone with iiNet and Mobile plan which worked well under 'adam' flagship and following iiNet takeover all has gone to sh.....
ADSL2+ broadband speed is halved .. the VOIP phone won't work at all and Mobile went from 5bars to 1bar and at times the network drops out altogether = no phone at all.
Three calls to technical (nice ppl in south africa!!) support and unable to get VOIP sorted.
Am still paying a monthly line fee for VOIP phone (which doesn't work) and the $50 of included calls in adam contract suddenly became routinely billed each month despite two calls iiNet billing support who seemed again unable to sort anything out. At least the call billing is no longer an issue coz the f..... phone doesn't work anyway .. grrr !!
Will the last person leaving SA please blow the candle out !!
