With the offer price listed at 45c and the bid at 40c it seems another offer may be on the cards. Seems there is a long period of grace for the IBC to consider and report (Dec 2013) so a good bit of time for other bidders to start doing due diligence. The overlap of directors between the two companies is interesting IMHO. Mr Loh has a majority of the shares but if he is on the board of GHL, can he vote them? I'm British so do not know all the rules for this.
