DTE will only be taken over if they get the numbers. It is not a given although the parties in favour are trying to make out that it is a done deal. It has been stated that NHC and other major shareholders will vote in favour of the takeover.

One will get igas shares for your DTE shares per the scheme, which will be traded in the UK only after any takeover that happens.

An 'independent' valuer (appointed by the board) said DTE was worth ~ 19c a share. This is below the current value of DTE which has been moving in line with igas shares since the takeover was proposed.

Majority of posters on HC seem to think the deal is not good for small shareholders and seem suspicious of the board.

I have voted NO to the takeover. There has been much comment on HC implying that that the directors are appointed by NHC to do what NHC wants as was expected following a board spill last year. The current directors have next to no 'skin in the game' so this theory seems to fit.

There is probably downside for DTE if the proposal doesn't go through as the focus of the board seems to have been to push this deal through for the last year with seemingly not much done to progress anything else. If it doesn't go through the board have said they would try to go back to the plan the previous board had of listing in the UK and developing DTEs assets with the farm in partners they have already made deals with.

Igas is bigger than DTE and focused only on the UK. There has been some speculation that DTEs Australian assets will be sold off to a related party on the cheap if the deal goes through. Igas also has debt.
