As a very long standing shareholder I was hoping for a stronger marker reaction....the reality is more of the same for UNV from ASX investors.
The harsh reality for holders is if the market remains at 31-32c this offer will go through unless another bidder is smoked out. If this is where the market values UNV then the market has spoken. The best directors can do is squeeze another 1-2c for a recommendation - hard not to recommend with trading level if offer marginally improved. A price in the 40's is unrealistic based on trading price.....
I would prefer to hold for next couple of years as we continue to grow but with current discount and major shareholder support this looks likely to get up.....very sad
