On the face of it seems like to directors are just going to roll-over and accept the bid subject to some caveat changes being sorted out. On the other hand, this could be a rather masterful move in that should these changes to the ATE bid that are sought be agreed to, so that the bid is more likely to be successful, it could trigger other bid's coming into play. At the moment, no-one feels the bid in its current form is acceptable or likely to succeed and other potential bidders are possibly just biding their time. The directors proposal throws a bit of accelerant onto the fire and hopefully flushes out other suitors
