Once the current bid is closed then becomes clearer for MIN / CE
MIN already had 19.9 % before bid
MIN acquired say 50% from flippers. Once bid is closed they are out of the equation and
if he makes a higher bid doesn’t have to pay them as well so IMO has got 50% very cheaply
MIN can then focus on US for remaining 30% and will need to make a better offer if he wants it all especially in light of potential drilling results
Overall MIN may acquire all of NWE relatively cheaply given the size of the resource and the potential to sell some gas overseas
