Is there any sense in buying both MIN and NWE?

I'm new to the game and have been watching and researching this play after a family member sent me looking.

I hold neither at the moment and waiting to figure where this will go.

I figure after all the reading that I've done, that if MIN fail to reach their target, they will eventually get there, maybe not soon, but eventually. Once they do they will have full access to the resource thus bolstering their own share price prospects?

If they don't make the target, its just more chance for NWE to gain traction?

Does this assessment seem naive?
