No , I agree, $10/mth off the bat sounds fair..
But unfortunately the ASX has royalty fees which are a minimum of $20 per user per month for
real-time feeds ( $75 for businesses )..
$100 was just a number I threw out there..
So with zero room for profit ..
What would people say to $20/month for real-time feeds..
An example of the data would be as follows:
for market depth:
0002193293ms: S=EML,G=0,B=2,I=6,Z=127599,O=5DEAD7C2000226CD,P=176.00,Q=1708
S=share code
I=position of depth to modify
B=bid or ask ( put or offer )
P=price
Q=quantiy
for trades:
0004223117ms S=RMD,P=836.50,Q=1000000,T=093417,N=40000020,E=48,C=LTXT
S=share code
P=price
Q=quantity
etc
So as you can see it's a very bare bones system, you connect via tcp to a port and just read
in the data as they happen...
