    well unlike some I believe that a functioning society involves following laws whether we agree with them or not.

    The individual customer could complain to the human rights commissioner and my guess is that the company warned the employee. But they are also covered by privacy laws so can’t go blabbing about any action they take.

    While the person’s contract likely has a clause that they could be sacked for bringing a company into disrepute that’s a tough call because the topic itself is divisive and I think the FWC wouldn’t uphold it

    my opinion but I think they’d be more stupid to sack her than caution her

    yeah that view might not suit everyone but then lots of people go around acting emotionally and get themselves a whole heap of trouble
