Another nail in the coffin for CFE by the sounds of it. AFP dont raid anyone's office for no reason. When you get involved in so many companies and a sports club to boot, even for a basically honest person, the potential for conflict of interest must be massive. I often wonder myself how you would manage all the stuff TS is involved in without being severely conflicted. Am I alone in wondering how Perth Glory is really funded? is it really Tony's own money? I note in last years annual report there was sponsorship money from CFE...anyone care to elaborate on the benefit to CFE shareholders of sponsoring a soccer club? is it going to make people want to go out and by Marampas? or Pinnacles?. Would CFE have sponsored Perth Glory if TS wasnt at the helm of both? Why didnt we sponsor West Coast Eagles instead? I suspect this might be the type of stuff the AFP and ASX are looking into.
