No it is not impossible. There can be a situation where the vibrational frequency caused by the destruction of the towers reached the natural frequency of the building, causing it to easily collapse.
But then again with the information you just gave me, it could have been an inside job by the groups with links to al-qaeda. They could have deployed the explosives. Not necessarily by them (those arabs) but by Americans they have links with, making the job easier.
If it was anyone willing to risk the job being uncovered it would ofcourse be the arabs rather than the US government.
