Yeah you are right about the eggs in one basket, but there is also another school of thought about becoming wealthy , and that is picking a stock in the right environment and invest heavily in it...thats what I have done with IGR...I'm with you...ALL IN.
If I can give you a little bit of advice...get on all the financial blogs...things like King world news, Max Keiser, Ed Steer...and lots of others...they usually link to very learned people who know alot more of what is happening in the financial world than you or I
It will give you more information about WHY you are in a gold stock atm...and may give you the info of when it may be time to whack more eggs other baskets..
